Man charged in connection with serious crash in Ipswich’s Yarmouth Road

Police have charged a 31-year-old man in connection with a serious crash in Ipswich at the weekend.
Officers were called shortly after 11.20pm on April 22 to reports of a single vehicle collision in Yarmouth Road.
Dimitar Mitev, of Dickens Road in Ipswich, was arrested after the crash.
He has since been charged with three offences in connection with the incident, including dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
A woman in her 20s, who was involved in the collision, suffered multiple fractures and was taken to hospital.
Her injuries are considered to be life-changing, according to police.
Mitev has also been charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance in connection with an incident where police had cause to stop a Ford Galaxy in Dickens Road on Friday, April 6.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today.
