A MAN will appear before magistrates after being charged over an incident involving an imitation firearm on a bus in Ipswich.
Gary Fulcher, 45, of Curriers Lane, Ipswich, has been charged .
Fulcher was arrested after armed response police officers launched a search following a complaint by a passenger on the bus, which was in the area of the Stoke Park and Chantry estates on Wednesday.
He was held overnight on Wednesday and charged yesterday with having the imitation gun with intent to cause a belief that he would use unlawful violence.
He is due to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
