Man charged over shotgun incident
A MAN has been charged with threatening another with a firearm at a block of flats in Ipswich.
A MAN has been charged with threatening another with a firearm at a block of flats in Ipswich.
David Copping was arrested following the alleged incident at Norwich Court in Norwich Road between 4.45pm and 6pm on October 30.
After his detention, Copping, of Chevallier Street, was taken to Ipswich police station where he was interviewed by detectives.
He was later charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
It is believed the firearm in question was an air rifle.
The alleged victim was a 24-year-old man.

The incident is said to have taken place in the communal area of Norwich Court.
It is understood that the victim is alleged to have been threatened with the weapon.
After 54-year-old Copping was charged by police, he was released on bail.
He will appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich at 9.30am on November 12.
