A MAN was fighting for his life tonight after suffering serious injuries in a road crash in west Suffolk.
A MAN was fighting for his life tonight after suffering serious injuries in a road crash in west Suffolk.
The accident, involving only one vehicle, happened near Park Farm on the B1085 at Ousden, near Newmarket, just after 7.15pm. Police said the car had left the road.
Fire crews from Newmarket and Wickhambrook helped free the casualty who was “severely trapped”, and he was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds for treatment. Police said his condition was thought to be “critical”.
