A PEDESTRIAN was fighting for his life today after he was crushed by a doughnut trailer which came loose from a van.
A PEDESTRIAN was fighting for his life today after he was crushed by a doughnut trailer which came loose from a van.
The man suffered serious injuries to his head and chest and was taken to Ipswich Hospital after the accident.
The collision involving three cars, including one which is believed to have been pulling the trailer along Handford Road, Ipswich, happened at about 9.15am on Saturday.
Police closed the road between the junctions with Burlington Road and Portman Road and traffic was diverted.
