A MAN has died after falling from a quad-bike in Suffolk this afternoon.
A MAN has died after falling from a quad-bike in Suffolk this afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to the incident in the driveway of Kirton Hall, Laws Drift, Kirton at just after 1pm following reports that a man had fallen from the bike.
A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said it is believed that the 60-year-old, who was not breathing when medics arrived, suffered a heart attack. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
She added: “It seems that the gentleman had a cardiac or respiratory arrest and he fell off the bike. He didn't hit anything or crash or anything like that.
“There was nothing that paramedics could do.”
Police officers arrived first at the scene and tried to revive the man but to no avail.

A spokeswoman for Suffolk police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death. A post mortem will now be carried out.
