A 45-YEAR-old worker has died after a work-related accident at an electronics firm.
An investigation by both Norfolk Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is now underway following the incident in Saw Mills Road, Diss.
The man suffered serious injuries in the incident at 10.30am yesterday and died later at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
As part of the joint police and HSE investigation into what caused the fatal accident, power at the factory will be turned off. This will cause a power blackout at homes in the Ashbrooke Housing estate and businesses in the area.
