A MAN died when his car left the road and hit a tree in North Suffolk today.Suffolk police were called to the A12 at Wangford, near Southwold, just after midday when witnesses reported seeing a car leave the road and crash into a tree.
A MAN died when his car left the road and hit a tree in North Suffolk today.
Suffolk police were called to the A12 at Wangford, near Southwold, just after midday when witnesses reported seeing a car leave the road and crash into a tree.
The road was closed and diversions were set up for several hours after the accident.
Police, fire and ambulance from across Suffolk were all called to the scene.
The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene and a female passenger was taken by air ambulance to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital.
