A MAN is fighting for his life in hospital today after a midnight road smash in a Suffolk village.The man had to be cut free from the wreckage of a car by fire crews after the crash on Orford Road, Chillesford, near Orford, at midnight on Saturday.
A MAN is fighting for his life in hospital today after a crash in a Suffolk village.
The man had to be cut free from the wreckage of a car by fire crews after the crash on Orford Road, Chillesford, near Orford, at midnight on Saturday.
The victim was taken to Ipswich Hospital with "very serious" injuries which police described as "possibly life-threatening". Only one car was involved in the crash.
Three people were taken to hospital earlier on Saturday night after two road accidents in Ipswich.
A 35-year-old man was taken to Ipswich Hospital after a motorbike collided with a pedestrian at around 11.50pm on Norwich Road.
And two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries following an accident involving a single motorcycle at 5.30pm on Foxhall Road near the roundabout linking the A12.
