A MAN in his 30s has been air lifted to Ipswich Hospital after his car was involved in an accident with a lorry.The collision happened at Fairfield Road, in Framlingham at 12.

A MAN in his 30s has been air lifted to Ipswich Hospital after his car was involved in an accident with a lorry.

The collision happened at Fairfield Road, in Framlingham at 12.39pm today and involved a Blue Citroen ZX and a green Daf truck.

The injured man was conscious and breathing by the time paramedics arrived and is not thought to have life-threatening injuries.

The road was blocked for almost two hours.
