AMBULANCE officers are currently treating a man who was found lying in an Ipswich street.The 65-year-old was found in Waterworks Street at about 8pm tonight.
A MAN is recovering from minor injuries today after he collapsed in an Ipswich street.
Ambulance crews were called to Waterworks Street at about 8pm on Wednesday after reports a man was unconscious in the street.
However, when they arrived they discovered the man was awake and breathing and had only minor injuries.
Police were called by a passenger in a passing taxi.
The caller told them that a man, believed to be about 65 with a white beard, was lying in the road and a woman was kneeling down with him.
The caller said it was not clear if he had collapsed or been stuck by a car.
It is now thought the man may have suffered a fall.
Police walked him home and the road was clear by 9pm.
