AN ELDERLY man had to be rescued by firefighters after a car crashed into a ditch on the A143 at Wickhambrook tonight.
AN ELDERLY man had to be rescued by firefighters after a car crashed into a ditch on the A143 at Wickhambrook tonight.
Fire crews from Bury St Edmunds and Wickhambrook were called to release the man just before 9pm, and it took around 20 minutes to free him.
It is not thought that police were called to the crash.
