Man from Ipswich area being treated on A140 roadside

The police helicopter was deployed to help find a young man after his family raised concern for his wellbeing.

Suffolk Constabulary was alerted at 11.30am by the family of the man, who is believed to be in his 20s and from the Ipswich area.

A search was conducted by police officers and the police helicopter and he was found at 12.20pm in his vehicle on the A140.

The man has been taken for mental health treatment, a police spokesman said.
