A 63-year-old man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting an Ipswich schoolgirl.The Ipswich Crown Court jury reached a unanimous verdict against Fernando Dias of Parliament Road, Ipswich in respect of a charge of sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl last September.
A 63-year-old man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting an Ipswich schoolgirl.
The Ipswich Crown Court jury reached a unanimous verdict against Fernando Dias of Parliament Road, Ipswich in respect of a charge of sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl last September.
However, he was cleared of an offence of sexual assault on a woman last November.
Dias was released from court on bail until October 24 when he is due to be sentenced.
A pre-sentence report was ordered and he was told to sign the sex offenders' register.
