Police are investigating stabbing

A man had his mobile phone and designer sunglasses stolen during an assault in Ipswich on Tuesday.

The incident happened in Crown Street, near to the junction with Peel Street, at approximately 7.45pm.

The 40-year-old male victim was talking on his mobile phone when he was approached from behind by four men. He was assaulted and had his mobile and Hugo Boss sunglasses stolen. The victim sustained minor injuries as a result. The offenders are described as four black men.
