A MAN is recovering in hospital today after he was struck with a bottle as a young people's party at an Ipswich club got out of hand.The East of England Ambulance Service responded to reports of up to 20 youths fighting outside Ransomes Sports and Social Club in Sidegate Avenue at around 11.
A MAN is recovering in hospital today after he was struck with a bottle as a young people's party at an Ipswich club got out of hand.
The East of England Ambulance Service responded to reports of up to 20 youths fighting outside Ransomes Sports and Social Club in Sidegate Avenue at around 11.45pm.
An ambulance and a rapid response unit were sent to the area in the north east of the town.
Paramedics treated the man at the scene, before taking him to Ipswich Hospital. The police also attended.
A police spokeswoman said: “It was a young person's party that got out of hand.”
She said no arrests were made.
