A man in his 70s is in a stable condition after sustaining multiple injuries in Ipswich this morning.
The ambulance service was called at 9.06am to reports of a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian on Burlington Road.
However, police said the man had tripped into the road and no vehicles were involved.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Ipswich Hospital.
An ambulance service spokesman said the man’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
