A 27-YEAR-old Suffolk man has today admitted a string of child sex offences. Timothy David Martin Cox admitted nine offences of possessing and/or distributing indecent images of children but denied three charges which involved attempting to procure sexual activity with children under the age of 13.

Timothy David Martin Cox admitted nine offences of possessing and/or distributing indecent images of children but denied three charges which involved attempting to procure sexual activity with children under the age of 13.

Appearing at Ipswich Crown Court today , Cox, formerly of Buxhall, near Stowmarket, admitted six counts of possessing indecent photos of children for show, one count of possessing indecent photos of children and two counts of distributing indecent photos of children.

He denied a charge of aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring sexual activity with a child aged seven, a separate charge of aiding, abetting, counselling or procuring the rape of a nine-year-old and a charge of arranging or facilitating the commission of child sex offences.

He will appear in court for trial on June 18.
