A MAN was today airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an accident on the A14.
Paramedics and police were called to the scene of the single-vehicle accident - the eastbound carriageway of the A14 near Higham - around 9.10am today.
The man was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital, Bury St Edmunds by air ambulance.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
