A 40-year-old man who allowed his Ipswich home to be used by two teenage girls from London as their base for supplying drugs has been jailed for two years.
Robert Wilson of Girton Way, Ipswich, admitted possessing heroin with intent to supply and possessing amphetamine and cannabis resin in May last year and possessing heroin and cocaine within intent to supply last June.
Sentencing Wilson at Ipswich Crown Court Judge Neil McKittrick said he had accommodated two teenage girls at his home while they were selling heroin and crack cocaine in Ipswich.
The judge said the courts were dealing with cases on a weekly or monthly basis where people of good character were being sent from the London area to peddle drugs to people in Ipswich.
Hugh Vass for Wilson said his client become addicted to heroin while serving a six year prison sentence for an offence of violence.
On his release he had allowed his premises to be used by drug dealers in return for free drugs.
