A 45-YEAR-old man has died following a work-related accident at an electronics firm today.
An investigation by Norfolk Police and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is now underway following the incident in Saw Mills Road, Diss.
The man suffered serious injuries in the incident at 10.30am and died later at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Police family liaison officers are comforting the man's family.
As part of the joint police and HSE investigation into what caused the fatal accident, power at the factory will be turned off. This will cause a power blackout at homes in the Ashbrooke Housing estate and businesses in the area.
