Man knocked unconscious in attack
LOWESTOFT Police are investigating an unprovoked attack on a man who was knocked unconscious as he left work today.The 43-year-old man was about to unlock his bicycle, which was secured in the ground floor parking complex at William Tubby House, in Swonnells Walk, at about 2.25am when he heard a noise and went to investigate.

The 43-year-old man was about to unlock his bicycle, which was secured in the ground floor parking complex at William Tubby House, in Swonnells Walk, at about 2.25am when he heard a noise and went to investigate.
Seconds later he received a blow to the head and was knocked out. When he regained consciousness he found his bike, wallet and rucksack were missing.
He declined hospital treatment.
Officers are keen to trace the silver Falcon Tensor mountain bike, the red and black Umbro rucksack and the brown wallet that were taken.
A man's black waterproof raincoat and a purple cycle helmet with a black visor were also stolen.
