FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a burning first floor flat today.The fire broke out in the flat in Beaumont Close, Bury St Edmunds, just after 12.20pm.
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a burning first floor flat today.
The fire broke out in the flat in Beaumont Close, Bury St Edmunds, just after 12.20pm.
When three fire crews from the town arrived the flat was heavily smoke logged. The firefighters used a ladder to get to the flat and take the man to safety.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
