Firefighters and ambulance crews rescued a man from a first floor window in Burrell Road, Ipswich, this afternoon after he collapsed.
Emergency services were called to his home at around 2.40pm today.
Three fire engines from Ipswich East and Princes Street were dispatched to assist with the rescue, and the ambulance service sent a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance crew and an ambulance officer.
The patient was lifted from a first floor window using an aerial ladder platform, and was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further treatment.
Police officers were also on the scene while a road closure was in place, but Burrell Road has since reopened in both directions.
The man’s condition is not known at this time.
