A MAN was rescued from a home in Leiston after fire broke out in a bedroom.
Three crews from Leiston, Aldeburgh and Saxmundham were called to Heath View at about 1.11am today after reports of a fire in a first floor bedroom.
A spokeswoman for the fire service said: “A man was rescued and conveyed to hospital by ambulance.”
The fire was under control by 2.12am.
