FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a house in Bury St Edmunds after a fire broke out in the living room in the early hours of this morning.
FIREFIGHTERS rescued a man from a house in Bury St Edmunds after a fire broke out in the living room in the early hours of this morning.
The man was found in the bedroom of the property in Oliver Road at around 1.50am before being escorted outside, where he was treated by paramedics.
A spokesman for the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Three crews from the town spent around half an hour bringing the fire under control.
