POLICE are today investigating the death of a man whose body was found beside a road in a Suffolk village.

An ambulance was called to the junction of Gedding Road and Park Road in Drinkstone at about 9.45am yesterday after the man's body was found.

His body is yet to be formally identified but police believe it is that of a 63-year-old local man. He is thought to have died from natural causes but a full investigation has been launched.

It is believed the man had been out riding a bicycle when he died. Police are appealing for anyone who saw the man out riding between 8.30am and 10am to call the Bury Roads Policing unit on 01284 774 100.
