Police are appealing for witnesses to the robbery, which happened on Saturday, October 21, around 8.05pm on Samuel Court.

The male victim, in his mid 40s, was walking in the area when a woman asked him for £5.

As he pulled out his wallet some other notes came out. The suspect then struck the victim to the right hand side of his forehead causing a small bruise and a graze – and grabbed hold of the loose notes before fleeing the scene.
