A driver suffered a head injury after crashing into a BT transfer box near Hadleigh this afternoon.

Emergency services were called just after 1.20pm to reports of a single-vehicle collision at Hadleigh Heath.

The transfer box was destroyed in the incident and the car – a Vauxhall Astra – also rolled over.

The man driving the Astra sustained a head injury and the East of England Ambulance Service was called to the scene.
