A MAN was taken to hospital today after he was assaulted in Ipswich.The 20-year-old suffered a laceration to his forehead, just above an eye, in the assault, which happened in the Old Cattle Market.

The 20-year-old suffered a laceration to his forehead, just above an eye, in the assault, which happened in the Old Cattle Market at 12.05am.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he was treated for his injury.
Earlier in the night, a paramedic was called to the junction of Lindbergh Road and Hilton Road in Ipswich after a report of an assault just before 9.50pm.
The paramedic took one person to hospital however it was thought their injuries were minor.
