Man trapped in lift rescued

FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a man trapped in a broken down lift at a block of flats in Newmarket this morning.The incident happened at 2.15am at the St Andrew's flats in Icewell Hill.

The incident happened at 2.15am at the St Andrew's flats in Icewell Hill.
A fire service spokesman said the man was released by the fire crew by 2.51am. He was unhurt.
