SUFFOLK man Russell Sheldon, who was found in possession of more than 100 ecstasy tablets, has been jailed for 12 months.Police stopped him as he was driving through Stowlangtoft and found cannabis resin and 16 ecstasy tablets in his car, Ipswich Crown Court heard.

SUFFOLK man Russell Sheldon, who was found in possession of more than 100 ecstasy tablets, has been jailed for 12 months.

Police stopped him as he was driving through Stowlangtoft and found cannabis resin and 16 ecstasy tablets in his car, Ipswich Crown Court heard.

A further 69 ecstasy tablets and cocaine worth £18 were found on Sheldon and further drugs were found at his home.

In total 101 ecstasy tablets with a potential street value of £1,000 and 68 grams of cannabis and cannabis resin worth £291 were found in Sheldon's possession, said Lindsay Cox, prosecuting.

Sheldon, 22, of Westhorpe Road, Badwell Ash, admitted possessing ecstasy tablets with intent to supply and possession of cannabis, cannabis resin and cocaine.

John Morgans, for Sheldon, said his client had shown genuine remorse after his arrest and had not used drugs since February.
