ESSEX police are appealing for witnesses to a serious accident.A 58-year-old man from Brentwood is in a serious condition after he was in collision with a black Audi A3, driven by a 27-year-old woman.

The incident happened in Wash Road, Hutton, at 9.15pm yesterday.
