Do you remember when The Bobby Charlton Soccer School made a trip to Ipswich over 35 years ago to hold a session at Thurleston High School.
The session was run by the legend himself and attracted dozens of youngsters from across the town, and perhaps further afield, who were tasked with a number of drills and given tips to improve their skills.
The event was held on the playing field at Thurleston High School, now called Ormiston Endeavour Academy.
Sir Bobby Charlton is regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of all time, and an essential member of the England team that won the World Cup in 1966, and a club legend at Manchester United.
The school is now known as the Bobby Charlton Soccer and Sports Academy.
