The 295 runners had trained for months to be able to complete the 26-mile London Marathon and raise thousands of pounds for charity at the same time.
Sally Reynolds from Ipswich was one of those who took part.
The brave mum has already donated one of her kidneys to her 22-year-old son Ollie and was collecting cash to help him get another transplant - this time from his dad.
