Martlesham: Two rare football programmes made a total of nearly £7,000 at Lockdales auction.

One from Arsenal’s first game at Highbury against Leicester Fosse on September 6, 1913, which the Gunners won 2-1, sold for £3,500.

A 1920 FA Cup Final programme in which Aston Villa beat Huddersfield 1-0 at Stamford Bridge made £3,400. A 1930 Leeds United v Preston programme also sold for £500, while a postcard of the 1920 Watford team made £850.
