A MAYOR and his theatrical friends have launched a search for a stripper.
A MAYOR and his theatrical friends have launched a search for a stripper.
The 20-strong Boo and Hiss Company from Watton, Norfolk are busy preparing their autumn production, Fur Coat and No Knickers.
But to put on the play the amateur troupers need to find a woman "willing to take off some of her kit".
"We were very much relying on a girl from the group to help us with the role," said Watton mayor Keith Gilbert, one of the players.
"But she pulled out because it's her 30th birthday over the weekend in September when we're playing, so she can't make it.
"It's not a difficult role. There are no words, just the stripping bit. But we can't find a woman to take some of her kit off as part of a stag-night party scene."
