THE Friends of Landseer and Holywells Parks, in Ipswich, are re-launching their group and are keen for any new members to get involved.

The group will hold a meeting on Thursday, November 29, at 7.30pm in St Lukes Church Hall, Cliff Lane.

The aim will be to set up a committee and decide on a constitution to drive the group forward.

The group wants to bring a programme of events covering all park users from pensioners to toddlers. There are many ideas already from toad patrol to discovering and learning about the secret lives of bugs. Also chances to learn about the history of the parks and enjoy guided walks.

A regular newsletter will also be produced which they want all the members to become involved in.

If this sounds like fun and you would like to get involved to help look after and enjoy your local parks please contact Julian Dowding on Ipswich 414092.
