DOZENS of people associated with the former Ipswich Airport took a flight down memory lane at a reunion.
The Ipswich Airport Association staged its third get-together since the airport closed 12 years ago.
The event was held at the Ipswich Transport Museum on Saturday for past employees, pilots and aviation enthusiasts and featured a display of memorabilia and photos.
It also gave everyone a chance to find out what their old acquaintances were up to now.
Angelika Voss, the former deputy manager of the airport and current association member, said: “It went very well. There was a congenial atmosphere and people were very interested in the exhibits.
“They were partly reminiscing and partly catching up. We are hoping to do it again next year as it was a success.”
