Two men were stabbed in central Ipswich early today.
They were walking home in the St Helens Street area of town when they were approached by two other men at about 3.15am.
After a brief argument, knives were produced. One victim was left with an injured arm, the other was stabbed in the back, body, and shoulder – his condition is understood to be serious.
Detectives have appealed to anyone who saw the incident, between Dove Street and Palmerston Road, to contact Ipswich police station.
