A RESOURCE centre for people with mental health problems is to be re-launched in Stowmarket today.
East Suffolk Mind's resource centre in Ipswich Street has recently changed hands, having previously been owned by Mid-Suffolk Mind, and to mark the occasion people in the area are being invited to go along for a look around.
The centre will be the only place of its kind for people with mental health problems in Mid-Suffolk if health bosses go ahead with their plans to close the Old Fox House clubhouse.
It will be re-launched from 1pm-4pm, when the centre will be filled with displays and information about East Suffolk Mind and their plans for its future.
There will be a programme of workshops and taster sessions where people can try complementary therapies and experience some therapeutic work.
The centre is based at 69 Ipswich Street. Lesley Mayes, the mayor of Stowmarket, will be performing the official re-opening.
