European Parliament officials have launched an inquiry into allegations Euro MP Tom Wise claimed money to pay one of his staff's wages, but did not pass on all the cash to her.
A statement from UKIP today said the decision to suspend Mr Wise “should in no way be seen as prejudicial to the outcome of the investigation.”
