Mercedes-Benz and Ford Fiesta crash at Henley Road and Valley Road junction in Ipswich

The Henley Road and Valley Road junction in Ipswich has reopened after a two-vehicle collision this morning.
A Mercedes-Benz B160 and a Ford Fiesta were involved in a crash in Henley Road, at the junction with Valley Road, at around 8am this morning, police said.
The foce spokesman for Suffolk Constablary said there are no reported serious injuries at the scene.
Officers put in place a “complete road closure” at the scene. The road reopened shortly after 8.50am.
Both vehicles require recovery.
Police said there will be “slight delays” in the area until the vehicles are recovered. There is no estimated time.
An ambulance was called to the scene and a motorist was treated for a neck injury. A police spokesman said he did not know if the motorist had been taken to hospital.

Firefighters were sent to the scene for precautionary reasons but no-one was trapped in any of the vehicles.
Three fire engines attended, according to the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service.
