According to the Met Office, this morning will start off dry with light winds and some bright spells, but cloud will soon increase, with heavy rain arriving this afternoon.

As well as preparing for rain, wrap up warm as it will feel chilly with a maximum temperature of 13C.

Tonight the rain will move on, leaving cloudy and generally dry conditions. However, some patchy light rain and drizzle is possible. There will be a minimum temperature of 6C.

Tomorrow heavy rain will soon arrive, reaching most places before clearing away east by mid afternoon. Brighter conditions will follow, along with scattered showers. It is also set to be windy with a maximum temperature 13C.

The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for wind and rain for tomorrow.

Rain is expected to be persistent and heavy at times on Sunday, with spray and flooding on roads probably making for difficult driving conditions and longer journey times.

Bus and train services probably affected with some journey times taking longer and flooding of a few homes and businesses is possible.

Another very windy spell is expected tomorrow, with a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris and a slight chance of some damage to buildings and power cuts.

There is also a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.
