Metal stolen from sewerage works

POLICE are today investigating the theft of £3,000 of equipment from a Suffolk sewerage works.Officers believe the theft from the plant in The Street, Great Waldingfield, near Sudbury, took place on either Monday or Tuesday.

POLICE are today investigating the theft of £3,000 of equipment from a Suffolk sewerage works.

Officers believe the theft from the plant in The Street, Great Waldingfield, near Sudbury, took place between 2.30pm on Monday May 14 and 12.30pm on Tuesday May 15.

Entry was gained to the secure treatment works and metal walkways, grills, grates and covers and railings valued at about £3,000 were taken.
