WHILE most Ipswich fans attending tonight's big game will be sipping coffee and tucking into ciabatta in Milan by now, one fan was this morning about to start his journey.

Junior Ward only found out he was off to Milan this week when he was announced as the lucky winner of an all-expenses paid trip to the San Siro.

Junior, 41, who lives in Station Street, Ipswich, was presented with his tickets by Town legend John Wark, at the Ellenbrook Green branch of Krullind's bookmakers.

He entered the contest through the bookmakers and was due to fly out from Stansted Airport this morning.

He said: "I'm quite pleased to have won – I've been to Milan before but never to the San Siro. I used to follow Ipswich in the 70s and 80s."

Accompanying Junior will be his brother Ian, 44, who has travelled up from London and the two Town fans will take their seats in the stadium tomorrow night hoping for a victory for the Tractor Boys.

"I'm hoping they are going to win through. I think we can."

John Wark was joined by manager Trevor Graves of Krullinds in making the presentation.
