A COLCHESTER man who went missing more than a month ago has turned up safe and well.

Police said they had been puzzled by the disappearance of Simon Shotton, of Ballantyne Drive.

The 36-year-old was reported missing by concerned neighbours shortly after 8pm on Monday, August 3.

But following a widespread media appeal Mr Shotton met with his father on Saturday.

His mother, Susan Shotton, who had not seen the avid golfer since May, made a public appeal for her son to get in touch last week.
