A MAN from Coggeshall has gone missing after setting off to visit family in Portsmouth and police are appealing for information to try and trace him.

A MAN from Coggeshall has gone missing after setting off to visit family in Portsmouth and police are appealing for information to try and trace him.
Steven Gover, 52, left his home in Tilkey Road on Friday and travelled by train from Waterloo Station in London to Fratton in Portsmouth.
Police said he had friends and family in the area but none of them had heard from him.
Enquiries are on-going in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight but officers in Essex are also appealing for anyone who may have information about his whereabouts.
Pc Adam Greenaway, of Essex Police, said: “We are extremely concerned for Mr Gover's welfare and his family are desperate to locate him.”
Mr Gover is 5ft 11ins tall, of proportionate build and has short grey hair. It is not known what he was wearing when he left his home.
