POLICE have called off a search for a 73-year-old man after he returned home this morning.Robert Riches had last been seen at about 1.15pm yesterday at his home in Stratford Road.
POLICE have today called off a search for a 73-year-old man who was reported missing from his Ipswich home.
Robert Riches had last been seen at about 1.15pm yesterday at his home in Stratford Road.
He was not at home when a visitor called at 7.30pm and he was reported missing just before 10.40pm.
Mr Riches had recently spent time in hospital and police officers were said to be very concerned for his safety.
However this morning Suffolk police said he had returned home safe and well.
Police had searched on foot and used the Cambridgeshire Police helicopter to try to locate him.
