Three masked offenders forced their way into Poundland in Beardmore Park on Wednesday evening.

The robbery took place occurred shortly after 8.20pm.

Once in the shop the robbers threatened staff and stole an amount of cash.

It is then believed they made off in the direction of Martinsyde and Gloster Road.

The victims were left shaken by this incident but were otherwise unharmed.

The first suspect is described as male and aged between 16 and 25 years-old. He was wearing his hood up, black gloves, a navy jacket with a red t-shirt underneath, black trousers and black trainers.

The second suspect is described as male and aged between 16 and 25-years-old. He was wearing a black jacket with a white motif on the left breast, black trousers and black trainers.

A third suspect is described as wearing all black.

Any witnesses who believe they saw any suspicious activity in Martlesham Heath either during the afternoon or evening of Wednesday September 19 is asked to contact police, as is anyone who drove through the area at these times and has a dashcam fitted in their vehicle.
